Beau Jessup is teenage girl from the UK who owns a business helping Chinese parents to
choose English names for their children. It all started when parents of her friends in China asked her to name their babies. Business Insider states that "Chinese parents often give their children English middle names in the hope of them working in the UK in later life, but a cultural disconnection can often result in 'embarrassing' names being chosen, including Gandalf and Rolex."
Beau developed a webpage called specialname.cn, on which she offers naming suggestions based on the child's personality traits, and uses the money she makes to save up for her university tuition.
