Parents face legal challenge after naming their baby 'Jihad'

Jihad is a common name among Arabic speakers and/or Muslims. As the article states, its original meaning is “self-denial or a personal and non-violent battle against sin”, but for those who do not speak Arabic and are not Muslim, it has become associated with violent acts and hateful ideologies.
