When You're Name is No Longer Valid

Names can lead to a lot of bureaucratic troubles, especially since every country, but even every province in Canada has its own naming laws. In British Columbia, you have to apply for a legal name change if you want to take on a hyphenated last name after marriage, which is now leading to issues for women who have been married outside of the province, but want to get a new identity card.
